The project scope consisted of demolishing three-quarters of a mile of existing roadway along a major thoroughfare on the airbase. The roadway provides access to airbase’s shops and industrial buildings.

The existing road was demolished and removed to full roadway depth. Its replacement required soil compaction and geotextile layer installation; and placement of new base, binder, and pavement. The sidewalks, curbs and gutters were also replaced, the roadway re-striped and asphalt millings removed.
