Founded in 2013 by Mark Rogelstad and Joe Romeo, GroundLevel began as a 2-man operation offering general engineering, excavation and UG utility services. Their performance and commitment to safety, quality and excellence quickly established GLC as a go to resource for GC’s, MEP and other clients in the commercial sector. GLC quickly expanded operations into the Federal market, where we have grown our capacity to service full spectrum General Engineering and Contracting efforts, including new construction, Design-Build and MEP projects from concept to close out.

We’ve recently formed an in-house Mechanical Division as well, and are signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Sheet Metal Workers Unions. Certified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, GLC is proud to support our veterans through our efforts at VA and beyond.

Where we are now

Currently the company provides construction, design-build, design bid build, construction management at risk and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity services. The founders have increased our service offerings from subcontracting operations in the UG market to full service General Contracting services for federal agencies at the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs as well as local municipalities and other commercial entities. The Management Team has grown commensurate with the company’s business growth to include construction and project managers as well as professional engineers.

We lead from the front at GroundLevel. Management will never ask an employee to perform a task they themselves would not do without hesitation. Management leads by example to get the job done, whether field checking operations or working side-by-side with field crews. The leadership team ensures all employees have what is needed for success.
